It's Starting To Look A Lot Like Christmas ;0

This Christmas display caught my attention
as I entered our local Stone Road Mall for a little pre-gift-buying 'look-see'.
It helped a little towards getting some Christmas spirit,
except for the fact that it was still a daunting task !
But, I've got a good start now and just a few gift certificates to get for the 4 (10-15 yr. old) gr.sons. Hubby is done ... easy-peasy ... just load up on books !
December 4, 2016 .
.. before the snow came ... the annual Xmas Tree Hunt was on
with 2 daughters and sons-in-law,
5 of the youngest gr.children (one grumpy Gert that day),
a dear friend and Hubby & I.
Another year under the belt ;)
We did get a trip into the McMichael Gallery again this year.
Always so inspiring to see such great paintings by Canada's iconic
... soon to celebrate their 100th Anniversary !
Merry Christmas to all my blogging buddies !
Wishing you, and yours, all the best in the New Year !!!

  1. All the white stuff has helped the sesson get dressed. Cold looks like it may make begin a warming trend. All the best to you and your family!

  3. I'm behind the times this year and am only just catching up with all the Christmas blogs awaiting me - many pleasures to be had in the after-holiday calm ... not the least of them yours. Family gatherings and snowy trees - Both bring the right spirit. We've had no snow yet here in the UK, but the last few days have given us hard frost and fog, cloaking the landscape in white of a different kind.
May 2017 be happy and productive for you. All good wishes, Margaret

    1. Happy New Year Margaret ! Sadly, but gladly, I am enjoying the after holiday calm. Surely you have lots of snow now ... we have more than we need ;) It is beautiful, tho'.
Now, if the creativity would only begin !
